A little blurry but still cute…

Oh my goodness, I just left Libby with my neighbors for what I thought was the afternoon but NOOOOOOOOO. I am going out of town for a family reunion this weekend and they are keeping the baby for me. Sophie and Mollie will be at the Pet Hotel. Anywho, I thought the neighbors were just going to keep Lib for a few hours this afternoon to let her get used to them when they advised me that they were going to go ahead and keep her til I get back in town on Tuesday. They said it would be better for her. Oh. My. Goodness. What am I supposed to do without my infant tonight? I wasn’t ready for this. Who’s the pansy now? That would be me!

Please excuse my lack of posts lately but…I have had a feverish early summer cold and, of course, there is a new baby in the house. Libby is doing great and the girls are coming around. Mollie is really good with her but Sophie is scared of her. How goofy is that? Sophie is like 50 times bigger than little Libby…what a pansy she is.

Libby came home today…yeaaaaaa

I volunteered to be the photographer at Animal Control’s Kritter Karnival this past Saturday. It was an ugly, rainy day but the turnout wasn’t too bad and there did end up being a tiny bright spot in it as well.

I accidently held a teeny, tiny baby on my chest for about an hour and she ended up adopting me. Yep, can you say “pushover”? She is a 7 week old mutt who was abandoned in a ditch along with her brother. What is wrong with people???

She is absolutely and completely terrified but found some peace snuggled on my chest. What choice did I have? Libby comes home to me and the girls tomorrow. I’ve told Sophie and Mollie they have a baby coming but I don’t think they believe me…
