This San Francisco State Senator voted to fine folks who are caught using a cell phone while driving. Then she had an accident…using a cell phone while driving…she rear-ended someone…imagine that!!
Good Lord in this world! It is finished and it lives! Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to present to you all…
I shall now go take a nap.
Does anyone have any idea who the parents of Wyatt Manly Johnson (1860 – 1935) were? He was married to Ella F. Parker Johnson and they are both buried at Rehobeth Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Johnston County, North Carolina. I have been able to locate their children and Ella’s parents but not Wyatt’s parents. Little help please?
I was skeered! Do you hear me? Skeered! I don’t even think I was breathing. Thankfully it was Ian and his alien vein that got voted off last night and not Apolo…but the tension was palpable.
Wow…that was truly a stressful elimination round. Did you see Joey’s face when he was saved right off the bat? I thought he wet his pants, he was so relieved…
I do think this has been the most competitive season yet and next week is going to be even more amazing. It’s anybody’s game. Bring it it on!
If ever there was a time to be a fly on the wall, this would be it. Jerry Falwell has died…and, while I do feel sorrow for the loss that people who cared for him must be feeling, I have to wonder about the conversation taking place right about now in that great big conference room in the sky. Yep…I do have to wonder about that one.
So, who is going to get voted off Dancing With the Stars tonight? I. Have. No. Idea. Good Lord. Did you see the show last night? How awesome was that? Ian even kept his alien vein under control. I was much impressed by that little feat all by itself. Do tell me though, why would Ian wait until the final four to decide he just might know how to dance after all?
Obviously, someone in power must have had a chat with our crusty judges because they played very nicely together last night. It was about time we saw some respectability from them. By the way, Len still moves pretty well for an old geezer, doesn’t he?
Now then, who ends up in the bottom two? Who gets booted? Who got my five on-line votes? Apolo & Laila. Yeah!!!!!
I’ve made a big decision. At least I think it’s a big decision. Since I can’t seem to beat the spammers on my genealogy message board, I’ve decided to disable the board.
What I plan to do instead is make this blog available for genealogy research queries. I will post, beginning once a week, and give folks the opportunity to post their questions in the comments section. If we need to do it more than once a week, we will. If there doesn’t seem to be an interest at all, we won’t do it at all. I guess we’ll just have to play it by ear.
I know Mark does swing by the blog so hopefully he will see some of your questions and feel inclined to post a few answers. At least this way I can control the spammers and you can hopefully get some answers.
What do you think? Is it worth a try? Let me know.
Okay kiddies…the wait is over…well sort of anyway. My hop through Rehobeth Primitive Baptist Church’s cemetery has turned into more of a trek as I endeavor to flesh it out. I am only into the H’s and have already been able to add more than 500 more people to my own family tree just from information I’ve found there! It is truly amazing the doors that will open with information gleaned from a cemetery.
Anyway, I have been updating the GEDCOM and I’ve decided to go ahead and update the Death Certificates and Obituaries on wemightbekin now since they are getting out of control. Obviously, there will be many, MANY more to come. The Death Certificates will make it up today but the Obituaries will take a bit longer since I have 36 pages of them stored up. Yes, you read that right…36 PAGES. Not all of the info will be from Rehobeth as I’m always looking at other stuff too so be prepared.
Now, it is always important to remember to check the New Stuff page at wemightbekin for the newest additions to the site. It’s a whole lot easier than trying to navigate through it page by page…especially since it is becoming such a mammoth site.
I hope you enjoy it kiddies and find lots of it useful for your own research as well!! Keep diggin’!
