A Little Help Here

Does anyone have any idea who the parents of Wyatt Manly Johnson (1860 – 1935) were? He was married to Ella F. Parker Johnson and they are both buried at Rehobeth Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Johnston County, North Carolina. I have been able to locate their children and Ella’s parents but not Wyatt’s parents. Little help please?

A kind soul saw fit to help me out:

I saw that you were asking about Wyatt Manley Johnson. According to the Johnston County, NC Marriage Register, he married Ella F. Parker on July 13, 1887. His parents were given as Curtis and Sallie Johnson. Curtis Johnson is listed on the 1880 census in Panther Branch Township, Wake County (p. 215, Household 33/37). He was a 45 year old house carpenter. His wife Sallie was age 50, and their children in 1880 were Tabitha age 25, Joana age 22, Wyatt M. age 20, Sarah age 18, and Edith age 12.

    Thank you so much!!
