Mama’s surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff in her shoulder and take care of several bone spurs has been rescheduled for Friday morning (30th) at 7:30 a.m. She will be at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Virginia Beach and will spend at least one night in-patient.

Thena had surgery this past Friday to repair an aortic hernia. She is doing well and is scheduled to go home sometime today.

My Aunt Sue (Ruby Sue McLean Mason) found out today that the cancer is active again. Please keep her in your prayers as she battles on and we wait to hear more.

This morning Mama got the results of the MRI she had done on her shoulder. She has a torn rotator cuff and several bone spurs. In short, she needs surgery ASAP. No wonder she has been in such unbearable pain.
She is putting the surgery off until after this week since we have a family reunion (Byrd) this coming weekend in Coats. Please keep her in your prayers as the doctor says recovery will be slow and long.
